UPDATE: To recieve the most fastest updates get on twitter and follow fci2008. Plus twitter will keep working even if the server gets overwhelmed.

I'm planning on using Twitter to provide micro updates during my trip to Finland reporting on the FCI World Championships. This will provide more immediate updates until I get a chance to report more fully from the laptop.

You can recieve these updates on your cell phone via txt messages.

To start receiving updates txt this message follow fci2008 to the following phone number in the USA 40404, in Canada 21212. To stop the messages txt leave fci2008 to the same number.

After you send the "follow" command, you will have to send a confirmation reply with any name you want to use. It is a bit confusing, but simple once setup.

Remember txt messages aren't normally free. I can't provide anymore help other than this so please don't ask. There is help page over at http://help.twitter.com
